2023-2024 Winter Beef CSA
Update: Thanks everyone for your order this year of your CSA! We’re sold out for now but have plans to offer it again next Winter so jump on our mailing list to stay in the loop.
This winter we are offering a 5 month beef CSA from November to March. Each box is a curated mix of cuts suitable for a family of 4 while still being an appropriate amount to fit in a normal household freezer. Need more than one share’s worth? Feel free to order two and share with friends and family!
What To Expect:
Each box includes 4lbs Ground Beef and 1 pack of Stew Meat
November: 1 pack each of Soup Bones, Sirloin Tip Steak, Chuck Blade Roast; 2 packs of Rib Steak
December: 2 packs of Sirloin Steak, 1 Arm Roast
January: 1 pack each of Soup Bones, Sirloin Tip Steak, Short Ribs, and Chuck Blade Roast
February: 2 packs of Round Steak, 1 Rib Cross Roast, 1 Rump Roast
March: 1 pack each of T-Bone Steak, Sirloin Tip Steak, Chuck Blade Roast
Pickup:
Each month we will be offering an in-town pickup option. In November and December we’ll have CSA boxes available at Riverwalk Market Fair’s Winter Market and in January, February, and March we’ll be at Imminent Brewing for a 2-hour window. Don’t worry, we’ll send email reminders the week of each pick-up.
November 18th at Riverwalk Market Fair (Old Northfield News Building), 9am to 1pm
December 16th at Riverwalk Market Fair (Old Northfield News Building), 9am to 1pm
January 20th at Imminent Brewing, 12pm to 2pm*
February 17th at Imminent Brewing, 12pm to 2pm*
March 16th at Imminent Brewing, 12pm to 2pm*
*start time subject to change based on winter business hours All shares not picked up by April 15th will be donated to a local food bank.
Cost and Payment:
A full share is $500 and includes a total of ~60lbs of beef. The estimated retail value of a full share is over $560, saving you about $1.00/lb. CSA shares must be paid in-full at the time of sign-up. We accept cash, check, and card for payment. CSA shares paid with cash or check receive a free pack of meat sticks with their first box!
How To Order:
We’ll be taking orders in person at Riverwalk Market Fair (last market is October 21st) and by phone through November 17th.
