W.T. Farms is owned and operated by Tessa and Wyatt Parks, two first-generation farmers in Southeast Minnesota.
We operate as a direct to consumer beef operation as well as producing Certified Organic hay for ourselves and sale. Wyatt started working full-time off-farm again as an industrial air compressor service tech while Tessa is an Agriculture Conservation coordinator for a local environmental organization.
We hope to resume custom hay services in the Northfield MN area for small to mid-sized farms in the future.
Currently we are operating out of Sharing Our Roots Farm in Northfield MN where our animals have access to Certified Organic pasture and are part of a larger land transition from conventional commodity row crop farming to a resilient and regenerative farm landscape.

We strive to provide the best life for our animals in everything we do. From 2021 through 2024, we bought fresh calves from local dairies and raised them on pasture year-round after weening. In 2025, we began building our own cow-calf operation of White Parks Angus crosses to improve our farm’s resilience (the cost of dairy calves increase tenfold in two years). Our animals may not be certified organic like our pastures and hay fields but we do maintain them as if they were.
Our pasture is all rotationally grazed and we practice in-field winter bale feeding to maximize our soil building potential.
